ENERGO-PRO Grids continues to intensively service the facilities of the electricity distribution network in Varna region

The specialists of ENERGO-PRO Networks continue to carry out repairs and prevention of the facilities of the electricity distribution network on the territory of Varna region before the onset of the autumn-winter season. With a regular detour of ul. “Borovets” in “Galata” district in Varna, a team of the company came across a broken door of a distribution cassette. The act of vandalism by unknown perpetrators had called into question the safety of people passing nearby. The team immediately replaced and secured the cartridge.

In the area of the village of Ezerovo, insulators of the hydrostroy power line, providing electricity to the people of the village, were replaced. The purpose of insulators is to secure and securely insulate current-carrying parts of electrical appliances in distribution systems and overhead power lines. The new insulators will improve the quality of the electricity supplied and significantly limit the possibilities of interference in the power supply.

Specialists of the company also carried out repair and prevention of the electrical equipment in the villa zone Evksinograd (Trakata area) in order to guarantee the safe power supply to customers. Mounts were replaced and medium voltage cathode arresters were installed. They serve to protect equipment from surges such as lightning. This prevents costly repairs to the grid caused by the vagaries of the weather and minimizes the possibility of breakdowns that would cut off the electricity of the people living in the area.

In preparation for the upcoming winter season, teams of electricians cut branches along the low-voltage network in the village of Dolishte and the village of Osenovo. In strong winds, the overgrown branches touch the air conductors and thus cause disturbances and accidents. When snow accumulates on the branches, they break and, falling, break wires, which creates the prerequisites for unwanted accidents on the network.

Days before the first school bell, substations supplying educational facilities were serviced. The company's specialists used non-study time so as not to disturb the conduct of classes and study hours.
