After the numerous accidents caused by the winter weather in North-East Bulgaria, the power supply in most of the settlements in the affected areas was restored yesterday. The teams of ENERGO-PRO Grids worked until late at night and eliminated hundreds of accidents caused by the winter weather. By evening, they had restored electricity to 76,000 customers in 283 villages of all 458 settlements that had been left without electricity on Sunday morning.

Last night the situation in the regions of Veliko Tarnovo, Gabrovo, Silistra, Ruse, Dobrich, Shumen, Targovishte, Razgrad and Varna worsened again as a result of the stormy wind and icings. As a result, new failures occurred, and another 83 villages were left without electricity. As of 11:00am today, 258 small settlements with a total of 67,000 customers are without electricity. Today, the teams continue to work until the power supply is restored in all settlements.

We work in sync with the municipal and district headquarters for disaster protection for priority cleaning of roads in areas where there are failures on the electricity distribution network, so that the teams of ENERGO-PRO Grids can reach the emergency facilities as quickly as possible.
