ENERGO-PRO Networks carried out reconstruction of the “Stadium” node station in Varna

The company invests 160 thousand leva in the project

Reconstruction with complete rehabilitation of the facilities of the “Stadium” node station in Varna was carried out by ENERGO-PRO Networks last month. Repair includes the replacement of the bus system, disconnectors, control cables, as well as the installation of digital relay protections. Simultaneously with the reconstruction, a partial construction repair of the building was carried out. ENERGO-PRO Networks invested 160 thousand leva in the project.

The substation supplies electricity to nearly 4600 customers in the northern part of the city and covers the areas of “Sveti Nikola”, “Dobreva Chesma”, “Akchelar”, part of “Gorna Traka”, as well as the villages of Dolishte and Kumanovo.

During the reconstruction, an organization was created for the supply of electricity to the area according to backup schemes, as a result of which the planned activities were carried out without a permanent shutdown of customers' electricity.

“The reconstruction of the node station “Stadiona” will not only improve the power supply of the cottage areas in the northern part of the city and nearby villages, but will also have an important support and distribution function in the area. The project is of strategic importance for the development of the network in the city of Varna - through it we will achieve a more secure supply of the Trakata substation and prepare the construction of a future connection with the substation “Iztok” in Varna, “said Martin Mirchev, member of the Management Board of ENERGO-PRO Networks.
