ENERGO-PRO Networks upgrades equipment at four substations in Ruse
The investment is worth BGN 1 800 000
ENERGO-PRO Networks has launched a project for upgrading the equipment in the substations “Leventa”, “North”, “Center” and “Prista” in the city of Ruse, as well as in the junction station “Minzuhar”, located in the area of Obraztsov chiflik. Repair involves replacing old circuit breakers that have been in operation for 30-40 years with new ones of the latest generation and installation of new digital relay protections. Telemechanics are being built in the four substations and in the hub station, which enables the upgraded facilities to be controlled remotely.
The total value of the investment is 1 million and 800 thousand BGN. The company plans to complete the project by the end of the year.
“We apologize to our customers for the short-term power outages caused by the implementation of the project activities in recent weeks. We chose to carry out the manipulations related to power outages during the inactive part of the day — in the earliest hours of the morning, in order to minimize the inconvenience for them,” said Mr. Martin Mirchev, Member of the Management Board of ENERGO-PRO Networks. “We would like to assure our customers that the benefits of the project will be many times greater than the temporary inconveniences. The installation of modern equipment will increase the reliability and security of the power supply in the city of Ruse and will reduce the time required to locate and eliminate accidents on the electricity distribution network,” he added.
About the upcoming planned power outages, the company's customers can be informed in advance on the company's website www.energo-pro.bg and in the regional press.
