ENERGO-PRO Grids replaced in Zlataritsa part of power line supplying key production and business for the city
Replacing an old aluminum wire with a twisted insulated one of a larger cross-section significantly improves the power supply to commercial sites in the area
Teams of ENERGO-PRO Networks, Distribution Service Center G. Oryahovitsa — Gabrovo, reconstructed part of a power line that supplies electricity to production plants in the town of Zlataritsa, Veliko Tarnovo district.
The repair included the installation of new concrete poles and the installation of a new twisted insulated wire with a significantly larger cross section than the existing aluminum wire. The reconstruction of the power line significantly improves the security and reliability of the electricity distribution network in this section.
The use of twisted insulated wire is a modern technology in which the use of insulators is dispensed with. On corner posts, tension terminals are inserted to make it easier to stretch the twisted wire, and for straight sections, the support terminals on the posts help keep the wire in the stretched position. With the new type of conductor, the power line is significantly more resistant to adverse weather conditions. Thus, investing in the network stimulates the development of the economy in the area and supports business.
