ENERGO-PRO ensures the security of power supply and customer service
ENERGO-PRO continues to work in the state of emergency and does everything possible to preserve the financial and technical security of the electricity system in the country. The company is in regular dialogue with the institutions and informs in a timely manner about the changes in its operating activities and about the financial risks that have arisen with the extension of the deadlines for payment of electricity bills for domestic consumers. ENERGO-PRO urges all its customers not to delay the payment of their electricity bills in time, in order to avoid the accumulation of large debts.
The companies of the group are focused on ensuring the reliability and quality of electricity distribution infrastructure. The emergency teams of Elektrodistribuenie Sever and the employees in the customer service centers continue to work within the framework of the restrictive and quarantine measures.
“As a company managing infrastructure important for society, we are aware of our responsibilities to society and concentrate all our efforts on our mission to ensure uninterrupted and quality electricity supply to our final customers,” commented Angel Angelov, Chairman of the Board of ENERGO-PRO Varna.
Meanwhile, Elektrodistribuenie North AD and ENERGO-PRO Sales AD submitted their applications to the CEVR on time for amendment of the current prices of the services offered by the companies. The proposed final increase for regulated market consumers has been reduced from the initially announced intentions from 1.83% to 0.98%. The decrease is the result of a significant drop in the price of electricity traded on the Bulgarian Independent Electricity Exchange in the last two months prior to the submission of the applications. For all other regulated market participants, the change in final prices has been calculated under the prevailing conditions.
The application of Elektrodistribuenie Sever AD complies with the regulatory adjustments with inflation index and degree of implementation of the investment program. In the event that the EWRC approves the company's proposal, the price of the electricity distribution company's network services would change by 0.71%.
In its application, Elektrodistribuenie Sever AD proposes to KEVR, as of 01.07.2020, that the price for access to the electricity distribution network of non-domestic (commercial) users be determined on the basis of the provided power. Due to the state of emergency, the deadline for updating data on supplied power is extended until 31.05.2020.
The application of ENERGO-PRO Sales AD contains reasons for recognition of the full amount of the allowance for the activity regulated in Art. 10, para. 5 of Ordinance No. 1 of 14.03.2017 on regulation of electricity prices, in order for the final supplier to cover the costs of fulfilling the license obligations, as well as including the costs of balancing them in the the actual size. ENERGO-PRO Sales AD also offers recognition of costs arising from imposed obligations under the Energy Efficiency Act. If the CEFR approves the proposals made, the average final price for supplying the household and business users of ENERGO-PRO Sales AD will change by 0.26%.
