ENERGO-PRO renovated part of the electricity distribution network after a landslide in the Municipality of Strazhitsa
ENERGO-PRO Grids teams prevented the danger of power outage in 7 settlements in the municipality of Strazhitsa after a natural disaster. In an area of the Municipality that suffered from the floods this spring, a landslide process was activated, which affected facilities from the electricity distribution network.
The falling landmass created a real threat of undermining part of the medium-tension pillars along the “Big River” river near Strazhitsa. Thus, there was a risk that, in the event of a possible accident, the settlements in the area would be left without electricity.
To prevent possible accidents, the company took preventive measures by shifting part of the route of the twenty-kilovolt medium-voltage power line along the river. In coordination with the Municipality ENERGO-PRO Grids installed new steel gratings and displaced existing pillars along the length of the river.
With the measures taken, the electricity distribution network supplying 7 settlements in the area was stabilized. The cost of the repair amounted to more than 13 thousand leva.
