ENERGO-PRO discussed the necessary measures to ensure the connection of new objects to the electricity distribution network with the Mayor of Varna Municipality

The challenges of connecting new sites to the network and the upcoming activities in the investment program of the electricity distribution company in North-East Bulgaria were discussed today at a meeting of the management of ENERGO-PRO Varna with the Mayor of Varna Municipality Blagomir Kotsev. The executive directors of the energy company Angel Angelov and Plamen Stefanov assured the mayor that ERP North, part of the ENERGO-PRO Varna group, is focused and working in the direction of network development in order to provide the necessary capacities for the connection of new sites. At the same time, it was emphasized that in order to implement the planned measures, the active assistance of the Electricity System Operator EAD (ESO) is necessary. In recent weeks, ESO agreed on the plan for implementation of investment activities in the area of Varna's Trakata district. Last but not least, the electricity distribution company will expect active assistance from the Municipality of Varna in coordinating project documentation and issuing all necessary permits for the realization of the project in the shortest possible time.

The increased construction in recent years has led to an increase in requests for new accessions on the territory of Varna Municipality. All significant changes in the city's electricity supply schemes are also largely related to changes in the ESO's electricity grid. ERP North is strongly committed to finding workable solutions to increase capacity in areas with such need and proactively communicates with the system operator in this direction.

During the meeting, problems caused by the lack of regulation in the cottage areas, the regulations for establishing easements and carrying out repair work were also discussed. The Governors of ENERGO-PRO and the Mayor of Varna, Blagomir Kotsev, committed to holding regular meetings at the operational level in order to resolve the cases faster for the benefit of the citizens.
