ENERGO-PRO provided more reliable power supply to 1400 customers in the central part of Shumen

At the end of June 2017 ENERGO-PRO implemented a project to increase the security of electricity supply to its customers in the center of the city of Shumen. The invested funds amount to BGN 52,000 and guarantee high quality of the supplied energy for nearly 1400 companies and households.

Within the framework of the investment carried out, a medium-voltage cable line was replaced between two substations in the city. The facilities are located along the route of the Mototekhnika outlet, which supplies electricity to a total of 10 substations located in the central urban part of Shumen. Conclusion Mototechnika is one of the main power supply facilities in the city center, as it also provides a backup connection between substations along the line of three other terminals.

The replacement of the cable line will allow, in the event of damage to any of these terminals, to improve the possibility of providing backup power to customers in the area. The total length of the replaced cable is 620 meters. Given its specific location in the central part of Shumen, where many public buildings are concentrated, the repair works were carried out with minimal disruption to the power supply of ENERGO-PRO customers. Thanks to the joint work with the Municipality of Shumen, the investment project was realized in the shortest possible time for the convenience of companies and households, which are supplied with electricity from the transformer substations at the Mototechnika branch.

ENERGO-PRO periodically conducts an inspection of the electricity distribution network in the territory served by the company. The project in the city of Shumen was implemented within the framework of the investment program of the company, after the company's experts made an analysis of the condition of the facility. The replacement carried out will ensure reliable and uninterrupted power supply even at peak consumption and will provide an opportunity to join new customers in the area.
