ENERGO-PRO provided more reliable power supply for the residents of the town of Smyadovo and the villages of Ovcharovo and Drumevo in the Shumen region
On the eve of the winter season, the electricity distribution company continues to gradually renovate the electrical facilities in small settlements, taking priority measures for the most vulnerable sections of the electricity distribution network.
A week after the beginning of October, the specialists of ENERGO-PRO Networks launched a project for the replacement of low-voltage poles in the town of Smyadovo and the villages in the municipality of Shumen - Ovcharovo and Drumevo. The rehabilitation is part of the company's renovation program and involves the replacement of 28 old reinforced concrete stairs with new ones to ensure higher quality and security of power supply in the area.
The electric poles were built decades ago and are depreciated over time, which is a prerequisite for greater emergency, especially in the current winter period. This is what made it necessary for the ENERGO-PRO Networks teams to carry out the renovation of the facilities as a priority in order to provide more reliable electricity supply to the residents in these areas.
The company plans to renew part of the low-voltage overhead power distribution network in the town of Smyadovo by the end of the year, replacing the old copper wires with new, aluminum-steel wires, which are designed to take on a greater load. They are more resistant to adverse weather conditions and will provide better quality power to households and businesses in the region.
