ENERGO-PRO provides an opportunity to reschedule bills for consumed electricity

During the upcoming holiday days from 17 to 20 April ENERGO-PRO will not interrupt the electricity supply on the territory of North-East Bulgaria. The company's customer centers will not work, but customers can use the various cashless ways that the company offers to pay bills for consumed electricity:

- By bank transfer via direct debit, ATM or payment order

- Via the Internet through electronic banking or through the electronic payment system ERAU.bg.

The deadline for payment of utility bills for ENERGO-PRO customers was extended by 10 days due to the state of emergency introduced by the National Assembly. In the event that a customer of the company encounters difficulty in paying off his obligation for consumed electricity in the additionally given period, he may request a rescheduling. To do this, customers should contact the company on the phone 0700 800 61 or visit one of the customer centers. Each requested rescheduling of an account will be considered separately and ENERGO-PRO will propose an individual scheme for the payment of the amounts due depending on the specific case.

Electricity Distribution North will provide 61 emergency teams on duty to ensure continuity of power supply to customers on holidays. The electricians on duty will be available without interruption to carry out urgent repair work in order to eliminate possible damage to the power distribution facilities. Customers can send alerts about accidents to the company's 24-hour telephone number 0700 161 61. The company's dispatch centers will work 24 hours a day to carry out the management of the electricity distribution network and coordinate the actions of the duty units. In the period of the Easter holidays, the planned repairs on the network, which was imposed after the declaration of a state of emergency in the country, are also in force and will continue until its cancellation.

Since the introduction of the state of emergency, the electricity distribution company in North-East Bulgaria has not interrupted the electricity supply to domestic customers for unpaid bills, and business customers have been maximally relieved by rescheduling agreements. For the period 13.03-09.04.2020, interest is not charged for late payment to business and household subscribers with arrears.

ENERGO-PRO calls on customers to pay their bills regularly in order to guarantee the stability of the electricity system and the reliability needed in the current crisis for hospitals, public authorities and the introduced remote work and training. In this regard, the power supply of hospitals is regularly checked and contact with the Ministry of Energy is maintained.
