ENERGO-PRO reported increased electricity consumption for November 2013 compared to the same period last year

Despite the recorded increase in consumption, there was a decrease of about 1% in the average value of invoices of domestic customers for the two comparative periods

For the month of November 2013, the company reported an increase of about 10% in the average electricity consumption compared to the same period in 2012. According to ENERGO-PRO data, the average electricity consumption of domestic customers for the month of November 2013 was 299 kWh, and for the same month of 2012 ─ 271 kWh.

Analyses of the company show that despite the increased consumption, there was a slight decrease of about 1% in the average customer bill for the month of November 2013 compared to the month of November 2012. The average value of invoices for domestic customers in November this year was 43.41 BGN, and for the same month of last year it was 43.80 BGN. With the recorded increase in consumption, the main reason for the reported difference in the average value of invoices is the decrease in electricity prices, once since 5 March and a second time since 1 August 2013.

The total consumption of household and business customers in the territory of ENERGO-PRO for the month of November 2013 was on average about 5% higher than in October of the same year. The average temperature in November is about 2.5ºС lower than the measured average temperature in October.

The main among them are ─ average daily temperatures and the season, which is characterized by a reduced duration of the bright part of the day.
