ENERGO-PRO reports growth in cashless payments from its customers

More and more Bulgarian companies and households are choosing the most convenient payment methods

Over the past year, ENERGO-PRO has seen a steady increase in the number of customers who pay their bills for consumed electricity by cashless means. The same trend is observed in payments related to the use of other services of the company, for example, connection to the electricity distribution network, increase of used power and others. Similarly, people who visit the physical cash desks in the service centers of ENERGO-PRO or the cash desks of Bulgarian Post, only to pay their monthly electricity bills, are significantly reduced.

The company has provided its customers with a number of cashless payment options — direct debit, through an ATM, with Internet banking or through the electronic payment system ePay.bg. The biggest growth is observed in payments through the ePay.bg system. In April 2017, more than 23% more customers chose this payment method compared to the same month last year. There are also significantly more payments made with Internet banking through a transfer order to a bank account of ENERGO-PRO. Nearly 10% fewer customers opted for a physical visit to the cash desks at the company's customer center to pay their monthly electricity bills in April 2017 compared to the same month last year. More than 7% fewer people used the cash registers at Bulgarian Post to pay their electricity bills.

Customers can find a statement of the amount due on their electricity bill on the company's website in the “Account Verification” section.
