ENERGO-PRO reports a slight decrease in electricity consumption during the Christmas holidays

In this year, electricity consumption in North-Eastern Bulgaria on weekends from 24 to 28 December 2020, according to data from ERP North, is 2.5% lower compared to the same period last year. Customers used 82,400 megawatt hours during the Christmas holidays this year, with the highest consumption for the period the electricity distribution company reported on December 24, 2020 - 17,400 megawatt hours. In the same period of 2019, from 24 to 28 December, electricity consumption was 84,600 megawatt hours, and on 24 December 2019 — 16,300 megawatt hours, relatively lower compared to the other days of the said period.

ERP North supplies electricity to over 1.1 million consumers in the districts of Varna, Veliko Tarnovo, Gabrovo, Ruse, Silistra, Dobrich, Razgrad, Targovishte and Shumen.
