Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works and ENERGO-PRO agreed on the debt of the water company

Today, 17.09.2012, at a meeting at the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works, a solution was reached to the problem of the debt of Dobrich Plumbing to ENERGO-PRO, and the electricity distribution company canceled the planned power outages for this week.

The agreement was reached after the Ministry, as the principal of the water company, provided half of the amount due and it proceeded to the account of ENERGO-PRO. The remaining half of the obligation must be paid in parts over the next five months. ENERGO-PRO explicitly stressed that the water company must pay on time both the installments for the rescheduling and its future current obligations for consumed electricity.

“We are fully aware of the inconvenience of the residents of Dobrich and we are very sorry that the solution was not found when we warned about this situation. We hope that everyone understands that we cannot risk the financial stability of the electricity distribution company and the security of the electricity supply of our customers throughout North-East Bulgaria in order to credit the state company ViK Dobrich. We sincerely hope that Dobrich Plumbing will fulfill its obligations under the signed agreement and that we will be able to continue with our normal work on the supply of electricity” - said Mr. Krushina, member of the Management Board of ENERGO-PRO EAD.
