ENERGO-PRO once again proposed to the National Electric Company that the commercial dispute between the two companies for the interception of uncompensated costs for the compulsory purchase of electricity produced from renewable sources be settled through negotiations.

ENERGO-PRO Sales reiterated the previous proposals made to NEK for concluding an agreement, by which it undertakes to reimburse the offsets within a few months in the event that the public supplier (NEC) in a short time recognizes its financial obligations to the electricity supply company in their full amount, formed as a result of the incomplete compensation the costs of purchasing electricity at preferential prices in the range of the contested period - from 1 July 2012 to 31 July 2013. At the same time, ENERGO-PRO Sales informed DCEVR about the next step taken in the direction of settling the commercial dispute with NEC.

“In recent months, our two companies have been pitted against each other, each acting in defense of its commercial interest and financial stability,” reads the letter sent today by ENERGO-PRO Sales to NEC. In the same letter, the electricity company expresses its willingness and willingness to discuss further steps towards finalizing an agreement between the two companies.

“In recent years, all the energy companies in the country have been operating in a complicated environment of growing mutual debts. Bulgarian society is not a secret of the critical financial shortage that threatens the normal functioning of the energy sector. Our primary task is to guarantee the supply of energy to consumers in North-East Bulgaria, not allowing the financial deficit to disrupt the normal process of electricity supply and the functioning of the electricity distribution network. At the same time, we are very concerned about the state of the sector as a whole, about the stability of the other participants in the energy supply chain and our position is to seek and find a reasonable compromise in the settlement of the trade dispute with NEC.”, said Stefan Abadzhiev, Manager of ENERGO-PRO Varna.

In the letter sent to the NEC, ENERGO-PRO Sales proposes to hold a temporary joint meeting at which to continue the search for further joint actions to settle the commercial dispute.
