ENERGO-PRO plans to invest 9.5 million leva in the network of Gabrovo and Veliko Tarnovo districts

The regular annual meetings of the Management Board of ENERGO-PRO with representatives of the local authorities in the regional cities of the territory of North-East Bulgaria have started. Among the main topics discussed this year are investments in the districts, network cases that need bilateral resolution, as well as the development of other energy projects of importance for municipalities.

At the meeting in Gabrovo, Angel Angelov, Angela Toneva and Daniela Dimitrova informed the Mayor of the city Tanya Hristova about the investments invested in the district's electricity distribution network in 2021 in the amount of BGN 2.5 million. The amount of planned investments for 2022 is higher and amounts to BGN 2.8 million. The managers of ENERGO-PRO shared the ideas for expanding the company's business towards the realization of renewable energy projects. Digitalization of services as another top priority was explained as an ever-evolving process to support customers. In the conversation with the Mayor of Gabrovo, network cases were presented, which through mutual cooperation and dialogue can find a quick and effective solution. Information was also given about the implementation of FEC projects of the trading company ENERGO-PRO Energy Services as an important focus in the activity.

Within the framework of the meetings with the local government, the management of the energy company also visited Eng. Dobromir Dobrev, Mayor of Gorna Oryahovitsa, where the Regional Center of the network company is located. On the agenda were again the leading topics in this year's tour of governors. The investments in the network of Veliko Tarnovo region were mentioned, respectively over BGN 6 million for 2021 and nearly BGN 7 million for 2022. Current case studies for the region were discussed in search of the most applicable solution for the benefit of both parties.

At the end of the meetings, the bilateral commitment to cooperation in the future was confirmed. There are upcoming visits by the managers of ENERGO-PRO to the other regional cities in North-East Bulgaria in order to improve and facilitate communication by regions for the benefit of regional development and consumers.
