ENERGO-PRO supported the Ministry of Interior in the prevention of telephone fraud

ENERGO-PRO joined an initiative of the Ministry of Interior for the fight against telephone fraud and the possibilities to protect against it. The company's customers will be warned about massively used methods of phone fraud in order to prevent them. The campaign was discussed at a preliminary meeting between the Ministry of Interior and the electricity distribution companies.

At the suggestion of the Ministry of Interior, the electricity supply company ENERGO-PRO Sales added a message to the issued payment documents: “The Ministry of Interior warns: They ask you for money by phone. Stop, don't trust me! This is a fraud!” The campaign is scheduled to last 6 months, and then an evaluation and analysis of the results will be carried out.

ENERGO-PRO has repeatedly warned customers about bad practices and misuse of the company's name for the purpose of fraud and will continue to assist the Ministry of Interior in the next stages of the initiative.
