ENERGO-PRO replaced damaged manhole covers in Russia

The teams of ENERGO-PRO Grids AD from Ruse restored damaged covers of shafts through which cable lines pass, providing electricity to a large number of residents of the city. In this way, thousands of customers of the company were guaranteed more reliable power supply and possible accidents on pedestrian areas in Ruse were prevented.

The new covers are made of polymer-concrete, which is not attractive for encroachment and theft. In addition, they do not corrode and do not conduct current. They are used to cover electrical and communication cable shafts mainly in pedestrian areas. Tests have shown that the installed covers significantly exceed the requirements of the standard and withstand a large load - over 19 tons per square meter. Their service life is approximately 30 years.

The restored manhole covers are in sq. “Western Industrial Zone”, sq. “Druzhba 1", near the store “Brikolaj” and the Professional School of Tourism in Ruse. With the new covers, the shafts are more reliable against encroachments by ill-wishers and safer in terms of the safety of pedestrian areas in Ruse.
