ENERGO-PRO has improved the quality of electricity supply in the Balik district in Dobrich

A team of ENERGO-PRO Networks carried out laying of a medium voltage cable, part of the ring, supplying 400 domestic customers in the Balik district in Dobrich. Thus, the specialists restored the connection between two conclusions. It is this connection that allows during repair work or in the event of a possible accident, the affected customers to be supplied with electricity according to a backup scheme. The laid cable is made using modern technology - resistant to mechanical impact and moisture.

The repair was carried out in two days, with the excavation work and the restoration of the pavements afterwards taking the most time. In addition to the costs of replacing the facilities on the network, ENERGO-PRO also undertakes the financing of ancillary activities. This is also a serious investment, and in some cases excavation activities and restoration of pavements entail significant costs. However, during the last two price periods, the EBRD imposed serious financial restrictions on the investment activity of the electricity distribution companies.

The fault occurred during the operation of the facility, it was localized and the cable was prepared for repair. After a technical analysis of the facilities, the specialists of the power distribution company undertook to replace the old, damaged cable with a new one to ensure the stability of the power supply in the area. During the repair, all customers were supplied with electricity according to a backup scheme.
