ENERGO-PRO takes over the distribution and supply of electricity to North-East Bulgaria
As of today, ENERGO-PRO is officially the new electricity distribution and supply company in North-East Bulgaria. The Czech energy company consolidated its role on the Bulgarian market after the purchase of the companies of the E.ON Bulgaria group. The final transfer of shares to the new Czech owners ended today, as a precondition for the finalization of the transaction was a positive decision by the Commission for Protection of Competition in connection with the realized concentration of business activity. “The main priority of the company at the moment is to assure the representatives of the authorities that in the person of “ENERGO-PRO” they have a reliable partner, and Bulgarian consumers - a safe and quality electricity supplier, “said Jiri Krushina, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ENERGO-PRO. The companies, based in Varna, operate over 42,000 km of electricity distribution network in the North-Eastern region of Bulgaria, supplying electricity to 1.1 million customers with a consumption of 5.5 billion kilowatt hours of electricity in 2011.
