ENERGO-PRO welcomes students from Gorna Oryahovitsa on the Day of the National Awakeners

On November 1, the Day of the National Awakeners, the ENERGO-PRO Training Center in Varna hosted 20 students from the Vocational High School of Electrical Engineering and Electronics in Gorna Oryahovitsa. The energy company and the High School in Gorna Oryahovitsa are connected by traditions of partnership and cooperation. ENERGO-PRO and the educational institution chose the festive Day of the Awakeners in order to expand the preparation of the students and help to acquire practical knowledge in energy in an environment close to the real one.

The training included lectures and practical classes on the basic rules for safe operation of electrical equipment, first aid to an electric shock victim, training on climbing a steel grid pole and demonstrations of various types of power equipment, power lines, cable heads and fittings.

The training ended with a visit to the High Voltage Laboratory of ENERGO-PRO Networks, where the young people witnessed the main types of tests of materials and specialized protective equipment.

All participants received certificates certifying the successful completion of the basic training course.
