ENERGO-PRO customers are reporting new phone fraud schemes in which the company's name is misused. The alerts are from residents of Veliko Tarnovo region who received phone calls from unknown persons from a hidden number. Fraudsters pose as employees of the company and notify about a broken seal, detected theft of electricity and warn that they will send a team, respectively, for the “service” they demand money from customers. Another scheme that applies is under the pretext that there is a change in the reporting date, an employee of the company will visit the property and it is necessary that it be left unlocked.

Please note that ENERGO-PRO does not have the practice of calling its customers by phone to perform a service, except in cases where they have submitted a written application to the company for a service at a price list. In these cases, the number from an employee of the company is never hidden and usually the call is from the national telephone of the electricity distribution company 0700 16161. Payment for the requested services is possible only in the customer service centers of ENERGO-PRO. The company never requires the leaving of unlocked properties during the regular reporting by employees. The reporting schedule for the ERP North is published at https://erpsever.bg/bg/e-uslugi/grafik-za-otchitane/grafik-za-otchitane-na-bitovi-klientiand its implementation does not imply customer phone calls to provide access.

ENERGO-PRO has repeatedly warned about various attempts to misuse the company's name and in this regard reminds that it does not practice to call its customers by phone in order to collect or update their personal data. There has never been a practice for electricity bills to be collected at addresses, and such actions are an attempt at fraud. We advise our clients, if they receive an offer to pay their bill or service on the spot, as well as in all cases of suspected misuse of the company's name, to immediately report to the 24-hour telephone 0700 161 61 or to contact the law enforcement authorities.
