ENERGO-PRO warns of telephone fraud with false calls for electricity meters

ENERGO-PRO is alerting its customers about yet another attempt at telephone fraud on behalf of the company. A signal about such a call was received from customers of the company in Varna.

The victims reported that they received calls from a hidden number from persons posing as ENERGO-PRO employees. Fraudsters claim that a problem has been detected with the customer's electricity meter and warn that they will send a team to the address. In return, they demand payment on the spot for the “service”.

The company emphatically states that:

• there is no practice of calling their customers from hidden numbers;
• all telephone calls from employees are made only from the official national number 0700 161 61;
• payment for services is possible only in Customer Service Centers.

ENERGO-PRO urges its customers to be especially careful and not to trust such calls. In case of suspicion of misuse of the company's name, they can report immediately on 0700 161 61 or contact law enforcement.
