ENERGO-PRO implements the European Personal Data Protection Regulation

ENERGO-PRO adapts its personal data protection policy in accordance with Regulation 2016/679 of the European Union, which comes into force on May 25, 2018. The companies of ENERGO-PRO Varna — Elektrodistribuenie Sever, ENERGO-PRO Sales and ENERGO-PRO Energy Services group published their privacy policies on their websites, which regulate the rules of data processing in the execution of the licensing activities for distribution and supply of electricity.

The application of the European Regulation does not require the re-signing of contracts for the distribution and supply of electricity. In individual cases, personal data of customers are processed after prior written consent indicating the specific purpose. It may be withdrawn at any time, without prejudice to the obligations of the company to the customer regarding the supply of electricity.

The companies of the ENERGO-PRO Varna group have always followed the principle of legality, responsibility and correctness in the processing of personal data of their customers. The implementation of the new European data protection rules will ensure even greater control over this process. In fulfillment of the requirements of the Regulation, an official has been appointed in the ENERGO-PRO Varna group who will monitor compliance with the European and Bulgarian legislation on personal data protection and will work in direct contact with the Commission for Personal Data Protection and with the clients of the company.
