ENERGO-PRO continues to work effectively in the state of emergency
Immediately after the state of emergency declared by the National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria, optimization of all work processes was carried out in the companies of the ENERGO-PRO Varna group. The priority remains the protection of the health of the company's employees and customers.
Simultaneously with the measures to limit the spread of the virus, the company seeks to responsibly fulfill its mission as a company of public importance and ensure a secure and uninterrupted supply of electricity to its customers, as well as to fulfill the conditions of the licenses issued. The company continues to be in constant dialogue with the responsible state institutions and, if necessary, will take adequate measures, depending on the change in the epidemic situation. The company has created an organization for the safety of its employees who have direct contact with customers, and for them personal protection is provided as a priority.
Since the beginning of the introduction of the state of emergency, all planned interruptions for repair work and prevention on the electricity distribution network have been suspended. There will be interruptions only in cases of emergency or emergency situations that have occurred.
In the past week, ERP North checked the readiness for uninterrupted power supply of nearly 60 medical institutions, including hospitals, polyclinics and medical centers on the territory of North-East Bulgaria, and the readiness for permanent power supply of medical institutions was sent to the Ministry of Energy.
Also, in connection with the general safety measures already implemented in the customer service centers of ENERGO-PRO Varna (regular disinfection, reduced working hours, separation of workplaces and admission of only one customer at the counter), a plan for deferred payment of bills for in March for the electricity consumed by domestic users with an additional 10 days compared to the current deadlines.
“Together with the measures taken to protect the health of employees, customers and contractors during this crisis, we are more than ever proud of our employees who ensure uninterrupted power supply to the entire North-East Bulgaria. The demonstrated culture of empathy and social responsibility is an example of fulfilling the public duty and we would not succeed if we did not do everything in our power to ensure the health protection of each of our employees with appropriate measures,” commented Angel Angelov, Chairman of the Management Board of ENERGO-PRO Varna.
The company urges all its customers to limit their visits to customer centers in North-East Bulgaria. From this week, the restriction from 08:30 to 10:30 to serve customers aged/over 60 years of age as a priority is introduced. The company appeals to customers to use the online capabilities of remote service regarding payment of monthly bills, checking consumed electricity, updating customer data. In the contacts section of the ENERGO-PRO website, customers have at their disposal all telephones, emails and the postal address of the company, to which they can send their inquiries, send letters depending on the specific need, without having to visit the physical office of the company.
To protect the health of all employees of the company, as well as its customers and contractors, ENERGO-PRO introduced flexible working hours and the possibility of working from home. Customer service centers will be open every weekday from 8 am to 2 pm with a lunch break from 12 to 12.30 pm, during which disinfection will be carried out on the premises.
