ENERGO-PRO continues the care of migratory birds with the installation of bird traps

Every year, the company carries out inspections of the technical condition of the power grid and takes measures to secure the sections that are most preferred for migration by migratory birds. To a large extent, these zones are difficult to determine, due to the fact that every year birds choose different places for the formation of their migratory flocks. Accurate forecasting of such clusters is a worldwide problem, and a comprehensive solution to address the problem has not yet been found.

Despite the long-term joint efforts of the company and the Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds (BSPB) to isolate hundreds of power poles throughout the territory of North-East Bulgaria, there were reports of ridiculously dead and injured storks in the area of the village. Aware of the seriousness of the problem, after receiving the data, ENERGO-PRO together with BZPD took timely measures in this particular section to prevent similar cases in the future.
