ENERGO-PRO is ready to cancel the shutdown of the electricity supply to the Dobrich and Shumen Plumbing

The planned interruption of electricity supply to the Dobrich and Shumen water supply will be canceled upon full payment of the obligations of the two companies to ENERGO-PRO. The company relies on the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works for the commitment to timely cover the obligations for consumed electricity in the amount of BGN 10.5 million through “Bulgarian Water Holding”. The planned power outage announced yesterday is an extreme measure taken with the sole purpose of limiting the accumulation of even larger amounts due, as well as protecting the interest of all other regular customers, and will be carried out according to the previously announced schedule, starting from 29.09.2020.

ENERGO-PRO strives to be loyal and always shows understanding to the difficulties of its customers. In the case of other socially responsible institutions, such as companies in the water sector, the main objective is to reach agreements through bilateral negotiations. These have been carried out over the years and ENERGO-PRO has made many compromises to maintain good tone and relationships. The management of the electricity company strongly hopes that this time, after the intervention of the principal MRRB, the problem of paying off the accumulated debts will be resolved so that it can continue to carry out its operational activities normally in accordance with its licensing obligations.
