ENERGO-PRO will carry out an extraordinary and gratuitous inspection of the distribution boards of nursing homes in North-East Bulgaria

The electricity distribution company, part of the ENERGO-PRO group, plans to carry out with its own resources and human resources a technical inspection of the main switchboards and connections in them of homes for the elderly located on the territory served by the company. Such inspections are not part of the licensing obligations of Elektrodistribuenie Sever. However, in order to prevent accidents related to the use of electrical installations in homes, the company's management made the decision to engage its employees in this additional activity. The inspections will be entirely at the expense of EPR North and will be carried out upon request by the relevant institution.

According to the company's data, there are hundreds of nursing homes in North-Eastern Bulgaria. The aim of the EPP North is to carry out the surveys before the onset of winter and the associated cold, accompanied by snowfalls. As part of its preparation for the winter season, company employees have already inspected a large part of the substations, including those that power accommodation homes. In the case of emergency checks, a technical inspection of the electrical panel of the respective home will be carried out and the connections in it will be revised. In the main switchboard of the home, an inspection with a thermal imager will be carried out, after which technical instructions will be given, if necessary to take measures, to the relevant representative who is present at the inspection. If the customer's electricity meter is located in a switchboard located on the territory of the house itself, again an inspection and revision of all connections in it will be carried out, as well as a thermal imager will be used to find out if there is a problem with the installation.
