ENERGO-PRO launches a project to support local communities
“ENERGO-PRO for Society” is an initiative of the energy company aiming to support the regional development of municipalities in Bulgaria. Its creation is a confirmation of the commitment of the Group companies to strive for sustainable development, well-being and protection of communities through investments in socially significant public projects. The initiative will contribute both to the development of the environment and to strengthen partnerships and cooperation with local authorities and institutions, setting an example for other companies working for positive change in society. The average annual budget is BGN 100,000. The maximum funding that a project can earn is BGN 5,000.
Funding from “ENERGO-PRO for society” will be for applicant projects in the following areas:
- Child development
- Preservation of the environment
- Building environmental values
- Sustainable urban environment
- Energy efficiency
- Safe use of electrical appliances and electrical equipment.
Beneficiaries can be kindergartens, schools, universities and municipalities throughout the country. The Management Board of ENERGO-PRO will determine which projects meet the funding criteria. Funds are paid by donation/sponsorship contracts.
