Municipal and state companies in the water supply sector are among the biggest debtors of ENERGO-PRO. Unpaid amounts of millions of leva for used electricity seriously hamper the operational work of the electricity supply and distribution companies of the ENERGO-PRO Varna group.

In search of a solution to the problem, members of the Management Board of the company initiated a series of meetings with representatives of the CEFR, the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works and other institutions. The representatives of ENERGO-PRO provided detailed information and sought assistance and support to prevent the risks associated with the supply of electricity, which are a consequence of the accumulated and unpaid debts of the irregular debtors.

Despite the efforts made so far, the negotiations between the company and the plumbing operators to find a solution have not yielded a real result. The accumulated debts seriously hamper the operational work of ENERGO-PRO and harm the company's regular customers, who pay their electricity regularly. Unpaid amounts for supplied electricity deprive the distribution company of the opportunity to make the necessary investments to improve the quality of energy supply and customer service. Due to delayed and irregular payments by large debtors, ENERGO-PRO suffers financial losses that are not reflected in the prices for distribution and supply of electricity.

ENERGO-PRO relies on cooperation, understanding and open dialogue with all stakeholders for joint and fair resolution of the critical situation and restoration of normal payments for supplied and used electricity by water utilities.
