ENERGO-PRO extends the deadline for payment of bills in March for domestic consumers
ENERGO-PRO provides the possibility of an additional 10-day period to its domestic customers, in which they can pay their electricity bills due after March 13, 2020. This is another measure that aims to avoid mass crowding of people in one room, such as customer centers, where the company accepts payments from a large number of its customers. According to regulatory requirements, at present, the period for payment of electricity bills after the statement of commercial metering means is 10 days. Now, this period will be doubled. ENERGO-PRO will conduct an intensive information campaign to inform its customers about the measure taken, relying on the regional governors, mayors and deputy mayors for this. The company will also contact Bulgarian Post for cooperation and information about the extended payment period especially to the elderly in smaller settlements. Information about the change will also be included in all consumer invoices of domestic customers.
ENERGO-PRO appeals to all domestic customers who have the opportunity to pay within the usual time to do so. By acting responsibly, they will help to avoid financial difficulties along the payment chain from producers, transmission operators and electricity suppliers. It is also a gesture of responsibility and solidarity with the efforts of all energy companies in the country to maintain a stable, secure and uninterrupted supply of electricity to all consumers.
ENERGO-PRO reminds customers that there are a number of cashless ways to pay monthly bills for consumed electricity — by bank transfer via direct debit, ATM or by payment order; via the Internet through electronic banking through the website of the servicing bank or through the electronic payment system ERAU.bg. In the event that a customer has difficulty paying the amount due for electricity, the company offers rescheduling options according to the individual case.
For customers who do not have the opportunity to use alternative payment methods, ENERGO-PRO reminds that all service centers of the company operate with reduced working hours from 8 to 14 hours with lunch break from 12 to 12.30 p.m. for disinfection. The visit to the customer centers takes place in a new organization, and only as many customers are allowed in the room as there are working counters, and the rest should wait their turn outside the customer center.
In order to ensure uninterrupted power supply to its customers, the company has suspended all planned network outages until March 29 inclusive, and only emergency ones will be carried out to eliminate faults that have occurred. EPR North teams will carry out checks on all hospitals for the availability of backup power in order to ensure the continuity of electricity supply in the event of network failures.
ENERGO-PRO once again urges its customers to visit public places, such as the customer centers of the company, only when absolutely necessary, as well as to use other communication channels, such as telephone and e-mail, information about which is available in the contacts section of the company's website.
