ENERGO-PRO Varna became Employer of the Year
The power company ENERGO-PRO Varna was awarded the “Employer of the Year” award. The award was presented by the Minister of Labor and Social Policy Zornitsa Rusinova to the CEO of ENERGO-PRO Varna, Momchil Andreev, during an official ceremony on December 15 in Sofia. The company received the award for an employer with a significant contribution to the regional labor market.
ENERGO-PRO Varna has been on the Bulgarian market since 2012. The company's policy is to give young people a chance to start their career development by working in an environment of established experts in the energy sector. Here they find the opportunity for professional expression and very good working conditions. Upon entering the company in a permanent position, in addition to remuneration, they receive an additional social package, which includes supplements for holidays and annual leave, additional health insurance, etc.
Since the beginning of this year, 47 young people have started an internship under the operational program “Human Resources Development 2014-2020”, procedure “Youth Employment”. 18 of them have completed their 6-month internship under the program, and 16 have already been assigned to permanent positions in various units of ENERGO-PRO Varna or the subsidiaries ENERGO-PRO Networks and ENERGO-PRO Networks -PRO Sales. The other 29 young people are continuing their traineeships and many of them will find their place in a permanent position.
“Our goal is to train young people and give them a real chance to establish themselves as future experts in the energy sector. We are working in cooperation with vocational high schools and technical universities in the country to find specialized personnel to be realized in ENERGO-PRO”, commented Momchil Andreev.
