ENERGO-PRO commissions new photovoltaic power plant near Polsko Kosovo

ENERGO-PRO has commissioned its new photovoltaic power plant near the village of Polsko Kosovo, Ruse region. The facility was officially launched by Plamen Stefanov, CEO of the energy company.

The photovoltaic plant is built on an area of nearly 21,000 square meters and has an installed capacity of over 2.3 MWp. The project involved the installation of 14 inverters with a unit capacity of 155 kW and a complete concrete transformer substation with a capacity of 2200 kVA. The total investment exceeds 1 million euros, and the plant's expected annual production is 3.325 GWh. The carbon emissions saved amount to more than 1,500 tons per year.

"The commissioning of the Polsko Kosovo PV plant is another step in the consistent development of our portfolio of renewable energy sources. For us, these investments are part of our long-term strategy to build sustainable energy solutions that create value for both the company and our customers. With this plant, we now manage 11 photovoltaic power plants in Bulgaria with a total installed capacity of 33 MWp, and we will continue to develop projects that support the country's energy transition," said Plamen Stefanov during the opening.

The Polsko Kosovo PV plant is a project through which ENERGO-PRO reinforces its long-term vision for developing a sustainable energy portfolio. The company will continue to invest in similar projects that support sustainable development and the fulfillment of its ESG commitments by expanding its portfolio of renewable energy sources and energy storage and management solutions.
