ENERGO-PRO recovered nearly 2 km of stolen wires in Razgrad village Sinya Voda
ENERGO-PRO Grids teams have restored sections of the electricity distribution network in the Razgrad village of Sinya Voda after the theft of copper wires that left the inhabitants of the village without electricity. The total length of the stolen copper wires is 1920 meters. The malicious act to the detriment of the energy company and its customers was carried out during the dark part of the day.
The company's specialists took emergency measures and restored the village's electricity supply in hours. It has happened more than once in such situations that electricians of the company were redirected to sites in need of their urgent intervention. Such acts, in addition to causing financial damage to the electricity distribution company, also create inconvenience for electricity consumers.
Facilities on the electricity distribution company's network often become the target of raids by increasingly resourceful thieves. The purchase of materials of unproven origin from non-ferrous metal points further stimulates criminal acts.
In cases of equipment theft, the priority of the company is to quickly send specialized teams to the site to restore the network and minimize the time during which people are left without electricity while the repair work is underway.
