ENERGO-PRO restored power supply in 173 settlements

The teams of ENERGO-PRO Networks eliminated numerous accidents on the electricity distribution network and restored the electricity supply to 173 settlements in North-East Bulgaria. Wet snow, rains and strong winds, whose gusts in places reached 86 km/h, tore wires and damaged insulators. Crews are continuing to repair damage to the facilities. In some places, their work is hampered by fallen trees and jammed cars, which delay reaching the damaged facilities.

At 15:00 the most complicated situation continues to be in the districts of Dobrich and Gabrovo, where 52 and 15 settlements are respectively without electricity. The weather situation in North-East Bulgaria remains variable with a tendency towards weakening of the wind. The teams of ENERGO-PRO Grids continue to work to restore the electricity supply in all settlements.
