ENERGO-PRO restored sections of the electrical network in the village of Kacelovo after another theft of wires
Once again, ENERGO-PRO's overhead power distribution network became the object of encroachment by persons with unidentified identities. This time the victims were the inhabitants of the village of Katelovo. It is located in North-Eastern Bulgaria, in the valley of the river Cherni Lom, on the territory of the municipality of Dve Mogili, Ruse district.
After the dispatcher on duty of ENERGO-PRO Grids finds that there are customers without electricity in the village of Kacelovo, he immediately transmits the signal to a team on duty from Dve Mogili. Arriving on the spot, the specialists found that wires from the overhead power distribution network in the village were stolen. Copper wires were taken along the length of 9 interposts. The team filed a theft report on 112 and at the Police Station Dve Mogili. After the law enforcement agencies finish their work, the technical specialists of the power distribution company install new wires in the affected section of the network in order to restore the power supply to the village.
It is not the first time that the electricity distribution network in the village of Katselovo has become the object of encroachments by ill-wishers. In August 2009, unknown perpetrators took copper wires along 4 interstairs, in September 2010 the wires from another 4 interpillars were stolen. In addition to causing material damage to the electricity distribution network, such acts leave dozens of households and businesses without electricity for the time during which the equipment damaged by the theft is restored.
