ENERGO-PRO restored power supply to 900 households in Shumen after an accident during excavation activities

The emergency teams of ENERGO-PRO Grids restored the power supply to 900 households in Shumen after an unpleasant accident during excavation activities. During excavation, a company hired to lay cables for local cable television damaged a 10 kilovolt cable at the “Iskar” terminal of the “Shumen - Zapad” substation.

The fault was registered after calling the round-the-clock customer service phone 0700 161 61. A team of specialists of ENERGO-PRO Networks in Shumen immediately responded to the signal of lack of power and found that a medium-voltage cable supplying 900 residents in the city was damaged. Employees of the company secured the faulty cable to carry out repairs. After immediate action was taken, within a few hours the power was restored.
