ENERGO-PRO restored torn wires and broken poles after the storm in the village of Zmeevo, Balchik municipality

ENERGO-PRO repaired the damage to the electricity distribution network from the storm that broke out in the village of Zmeevo, Balchik municipality, at the end of last week.

Broken poles and numerous torn wires were found by the emergency teams of the electricity distribution company who urgently arrived in the village. According to local residents, the natural element uprooted huge trees from the ground and with great force threw branches on the poles and wires of the power distribution network. Eyewitnesses told how a poplar tree over 20 meters high was split by lightning and fell on a nearby electric pole.

ENERGO-PRO mobilized electricians and technicians from all over the area, who on the same night managed to restore electricity to almost the entire village, with the exception of 4 houses located in the section with the greatest damage. The next day, the emergency crews arrived with heavy equipment, set up the new poles and switched on the power line.

In a letter of gratitude to the management of ENERGO-PRO, the mayor of the village of Zmeevo Iliya Iliev shared his satisfaction with the work done: “On my behalf and on behalf of the residents of the village of Zmeevo, municipality of Balchik, I would like to express sincere thanks to your employees, who in a moment of disaster showed their professionalism and work They worked around the clock until they restored electricity to the last house.” The mayor thanked for the good organization of the teams and for the timely replacement of the pillars fallen by the storm.
