ENERGO-PRO started to reflect in the invoices the state compensation for business customers

The practical implementation of the business compensation program for high electricity prices, which was adopted by the government at the end of October, has begun. The first step of the business compensation program was the modification of the methodology for prices per supplier of last resort, which reduced the costs of the industry between 15 and 30 BGN per megawatt hour. The approved compensation measure is implemented in coordination with the European Commission and signed standard contracts with the Ministry of Energy and is aimed at mitigating the economic consequences of sudden price volatility in the energy market.

Under the compensation program, the companies' bills will be reduced by 110 BGN/MWh of consumed electricity for the months of October and November 2021. The money is paid to the companies on the free market and the customers of the Provider of last resort. If, at the time of calculation of the compensation, the customer has already paid off, it will pay off other existing or future obligations for electricity to ENERGO-PRO.
