ERP North invests BGN 100,000 in renovation of substation in Veliko Tarnovo

ERP North carried out reconstruction of a substation Veliko Tarnovo, supplying electricity to four neighborhoods, the western industrial zone and part of the broad center of the city of the same name, as well as two villages. With the reconstruction, the electricity supply of 31,000 domestic and business customers of the company has been improved. The value of the investment amounts to BGN 100,000 and is part of the investment program of ERP North.

During the renovation of the substation, the 110 kV bus system was replaced, in which aluminum-steel wires with a larger cross-section were placed, with the capacity to take increased loads. On the high-voltage equipment, the current terminals for connecting the wires in the site have been replaced, and new silicone insulators have been installed, more resistant to adverse weather conditions. Rehabilitation of the reinforced concrete structure in the open distribution system was carried out. The connection points are inspected and inspected to ensure reliable operation of the substation.

ERP North regularly monitors the condition of the electricity distribution facilities in North-East Bulgaria and identifies the objects to be included in the investment and repair program of the company. The aim is to provide sustainable electricity supply to households and businesses in the territory served by ERP North.
