EPR North invests BGN 2.3 million in renovation of electricity distribution network in Shumen

Elektrodistribuenie Sever implemented investment projects for the renovation of the facilities of the electricity distribution network in Shumen region worth nearly BGN 2.3 million. They are part of the company's investment program for 2018 and aim to provide sustainable electricity supply to households and businesses, as well as development of electricity infrastructure in the area.

Since the beginning of the year, the electricity distribution company has invested BGN 1.2 million in renovation and export of electric meter panels and installation of new means for commercial metering, BGN 922 thousand in optimization of the network and connection of new users, BGN 134 thousand in the purchase of specialized equipment and means for prevention and response to disasters and accidents. Another 630 thousand BGN is to be invested in reconstructions and maintenance of the electricity distribution network in the district.

Elektrodistribuenie North is part of the ENERGO-PRO Varna group. The company manages and maintains a power distribution network with a total length of 42,185 km. on an area of nearly 30,000 sq. km and covers 9 administrative districts in North-East Bulgaria - Varna, Veliko Tarnovo, Gabrovo, Dobrich, Razgrad, Ruse, Silistra, Targovishte and Shumen.
