Electricity Distribution North has completed a project for the construction of an overhead power grid in Borovets South settlement (SO), located southeast of Varna's Asparuhovo district. The invested funds are part of the investment program of the company for 2019 and amount to BGN 250,000.

Within the framework of the implemented project, a new low-voltage power distribution network was built from two substations in the settlement. A total of 183 new reinforced concrete pillars were installed, and the entire length of the inserted wire amounted to nearly 13,000 meters. The project for the construction of the new air network is completely filled with twisted insulated wires. They have a number of significant advantages over networks with non-insulated wires and in recent years have been identified as a modern and promising trend in power construction. Twisted insulated wires are characterized by excellent technical performance, are reliable and resistant to adverse weather conditions.

Although Borovets South is characterized by seasonal population dynamics, in recent years there has been a significant growth of permanent residents in the area. The stability of the electricity distribution network is one of the important prerequisites for the development of any settlement. The investment made by ERP North will enable new customers to join the company and at the same time increase the quality and security of electricity supply for the residents of the settlement.
