ERP North invests BGN 3.8 million in rehabilitation of electricity distribution network in Ruse region
Electricity Distribution North invested BGN 3.8 million in the renovation and development of the electricity infrastructure in Ruse region in 2018. The series of projects implemented by the company are aimed at providing reliable electricity supply to the residents of the district and the possibility of connecting new sites.
The electricity company, part of the ENERGO-PRO Varna group, invested 1.8 million in construction and rehabilitation of power lines, air and cable lines, substations, connection of new customers, as well as in the purchase of new cars and specialized equipment for emergency teams. Another BGN 2 million has been invested in the construction of electricity meter panels and installation of new electricity meters.
By the end of the year, the construction of the East - Ruse junction station will be completed. With the addition of the facility, the network configuration will be changed and a more sustainable power supply will be provided in the area. The replacement of underground cable lines of medium voltage on the territory of the district with the laying of cables of a larger cross-section is planned. This increases the resilience of the grid and the ability to absorb the higher loads from the increasing consumption during the winter months.
