ERP North invests BGN 400,000 in air network in Varna region

ERP North carries out a number of maintenance activities of the electricity distribution network in its licensed territory. The company's teams are united and managed by five distribution service centers in North-East Bulgaria with additional zoning in smaller settlements. Activities in emergency situations, as well as repair and investment projects, are combined with periodic inspections of the network and priority taking of measures to increase the security of customers' electricity supply.

Projects worth BGN 400,000 have been implemented by ERP North in the area served by Distribution Service Center Varna. The settlements in which large-scale rehabilitation of the overhead power distribution network has been carried out include the town of Dolni Chiflik, the village of Blaskovo and the village of Osenovo. In parallel with the repair work on the replacement of facilities in the area in recent months, the company has invested in a project stage for the construction of a new air network in Borovets - South area in the city of Varna. A total of 24,000 meters of twisted insulated wire with high resistance to sudden changes in weather conditions were installed, 150 new reinforced concrete and iron lattice pillars were installed in the mentioned settlements, preventive activities were carried out to replace electrical elements of the air network and additionally secured the facilities. The projects are part of the investment and repair programs of ERP North for 2019, the implementation of which guarantees the quality of the service provided to customers.

Elektrodistribuenie Sever AD holds a license for the electricity distribution activity. The licensed territory of the company is nearly 30,000 sq. km and covers 9 administrative districts in North-East Bulgaria - Varna, Veliko Tarnovo, Gabrovo, Dobrich, Razgrad, Ruse, Silistra, Targovishte and Shumen. ERP North manages and maintains a power distribution network with a total length of 42,626 km and 26 substations.
