EP North invests BGN 7.6 million in the network of Veliko Tarnovo district in 2021
BGN 6.2 million was invested for the renovation of electricity distribution facilities in the district in 2020
The Management Board of ENERGO-PRO held a meeting with the Mayor of Veliko Tarnovo Daniel Panov and other representatives of the local government. At the meeting, Governors Angel Angelov, Angela Toneva and Daniela Dimitrova pointed out that in the past 2020, the electricity distribution company ERP North invested more than BGN 6.2 million in the network of Veliko Tarnovo district, including BGN 1.5 million in repair works. Completed objects of the investment and repair program of the company and the value invested in them were noted. The course of the investment program for 2021 was also discussed, the funds for which are in the amount of BGN 7.6 million. The rehabilitation of the electricity distribution facilities is carried out by the electricians of the company both according to a pre-prepared plan and in cases of urgent need for repair work due to unforeseen damage to the facilities.
The meeting is at the initiative of ENERGO-PRO and is part of the campaign for open dialogue and cooperation with the local government. During the discussion, the managers of the energy company introduced Mr. Panov and his colleagues to the current projects in the Group companies and their status. Topics of mutual interest were discussed to be discussed in the future. The process of liberalization of non-residential customers, which was legally launched last year, was presented in specific figures for the district. According to official data of the electricity supply company, 5000 business customers from Veliko Tarnovo region are still to make their choice of electricity supplier on the free market, the deadline for which expires next month.
The meeting ended with a discussion of the development of network cases raised during a meeting last year between the governors and the local authority on similar topics. Additional ways of mutual cooperation in joint work were agreed. The commitment to open and facilitated communication between the two countries in favor of the quality supply of electricity to customers in the area was confirmed.
