EPR North invests in renovation of facilities in Veliko Tarnovo region

Elektrodistribuenie North is implementing a project for the rehabilitation of the electricity distribution network in Veliko Tarnovo and part of the surrounding villages. The funds invested by the company in the project amount to BGN 115,000 and include replacement of overhead power lines, underground cables, installation of new poles, prevention of electrical components.

As part of the planned investment, the specialists of ERP North replaced 4700 meters of overhead power lines with new ones, more resistant to adverse climatic conditions, which are typical for the colder seasons in Veliko Tarnovo region. The wires are of twisted insulated type, reliable against theft and with increased resistance to winding and icing. Additionally, 1500 meters of new cable was laid in the medium-voltage underground network in Veliko Tarnovo, which connects central substations in the city.

As a result of the network rehabilitation activities in the area, the power supply of 2200 households in several settlements in the district has been improved.
