ERP North renovated network facilities worth BGN 200,000 in 5 settlements in Varna region
ERP North carried out rehabilitation of the electricity distribution network in Dolni Chiflik, Provadia, Stipsko, Hrabrovo and Velichkovo in Varna region within the framework of projects of the Investment Program of the company. A total of 23,000 meters of twisted insulated wires, characterized by increased resistance to weather conditions, such as summer storms, snowdrifts, icicles, were laid on the facilities of the low-voltage air network in the indicated areas. Some of the pillars were also replaced in order to minimize possible emergency events and to improve the electricity supply to tens of thousands of residents of the settlements included in the project.
Electricity Distribution North serves a network with a total length of 42,526 km in the districts of Varna, Veliko Tarnovo, Gabrovo, Dobrich, Razgrad, Ruse, Silistra, Targovishte and Shumen. The objects of the Investment Program of the company are implemented in accordance with the regulatory requirements for the development of the electricity infrastructure in Bulgaria. The activities on electricity distribution facilities are part of the company's policy for the phased renovation of network facilities in order to ensure the continuity of supply and quality of the supplied electricity. The modernized network in the rehabilitated settlements has the capacity to absorb increased consumption and allows the joining of new customers from newly built objects with residential or business purposes.
