EPP North prepared the network for work in the autumn-winter period

Elektrodistribuenie Sever held a number of events to bring the company's facilities ready for operation in winter conditions. The prevention and rehabilitation activities included the replacement of 11,000 insulators and nearly 3,000 power distribution poles, reconstructed hundreds of kilometers of low-voltage network, which contained 47 thousand liters of transformer oil. The necessary operational and emergency reserve of basic types of materials and equipment is regulated.

One of the important seasonal activities of Elektrodistribuenie Sever AD is maintenance of the servitude zones of low and medium voltage air networks. In connection with increasing the security and continuity of electricity supply to the company's users, searches have been carried out in the easement zones, which facilitates the servicing of the facilities and limits the emergency caused by the interlacing of the branches in the wires.

Through the events held, the facilities of the Company have been brought into compliance with the requirements of the Ordinance on Technical Operation of Power Plants and Networks, the Ordinance on the Arrangement of Electrical Systems and Power Lines and the Regulations on Occupational Safety.

For the elimination of accidents on the electricity distribution network, the company has 384 teams in a total of five Distribution Centers in North-East Bulgaria. In addition to team cars, employees from ERP North have 420 off-road vehicles, 146 special vehicles and 62 specialized equipment at their disposal. Cars are equipped with tools, materials and personal protective equipment.

In accordance with the requirements of the Disaster Protection Act, outside the organizational structure of the Company, nine Permanent Regional Headquarters (PRC) have been established and functioning, which manage the actions to deal with emergency situations arising as a result of natural disasters or major accidents in the respective region. Part of the activities of the headquarters includes coordinating and supervising the conduct of urgent emergency recovery works by the emergency teams on the electricity distribution network within the relevant regional service center. It is their obligation to ensure the interaction of the emergency teams on the territory of the regional and municipal administrations, with the structures of the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and other departments.

Reliable energy supply to all customers is a top priority of Elektrodistribuenie Sever AD. As a result of the implementation of activities of the investment and repair programs of the company for 2024, key goals have been achieved, such as reducing technological costs, improving the operation of the electricity distribution network and the quality of electricity supply, increasing the security of electricity supply to the company's customers, increasing the accuracy of electricity metering.
