EP North suspends planned power outages on holidays

In the period 23.12.2020 — 03.01.2021 Elektrodistribuenie Sever will terminate the repair works on the grid in North-East Bulgaria carried out according to a pre-prepared schedule. At the indicated time, no planned interruptions to the power supply of customers are foreseen. On the eve of the Christmas holidays, the current stages of investment and repair projects of the network rehabilitation company will be finalized or temporarily suspended.

The dispatching centers of the electricity distribution company monitor around the clock, without a day off, for unforeseen emergency situations on the facilities. During the holidays, a management team on duty will coordinate, if necessary, the actions of the teams in case of power outages due to failures and as a result of a complicated weather situation. Under similar conditions, ERP North coordinates its activities with the municipal authorities, relying on them for the timely clearing of roads, which significantly reduces the time for locating accidents and restoring power supply in areas affected by bad weather. 61 duty teams of the electricity distribution company are ready to respond in a timely manner if necessary.
